When you hear of pirates, the first thing you think of is probably people steering big ships, shooting cannons and singing wicked pirate songs. You probably think that they don't exist anymore, but today I am going to talk about modern day pirates.
Piracy is an act of robbery or criminal violence by ship or boat on another ship. Modern day pirates steal cargo and other valuable goods. Instead of swords and other old-school weapons, these pirates use guns.
Pirates as you know, wear eye-patches, uses cannons or swords, but the reality of modern day piracy and it's bloodshed is much more terrifying.
